This conversation already happened but for myself and anyone who missed it, I want to cosplay;

and -Phi from Virtue’s Last Reward!
I also wouldn’t mind cosplaying Rhyme or Rachel Alucard but I don’t think that I could pull them off very well.
Also I want to learn to sew and make things because I have a legitimate interest in fashion design and that is sort of an important skill to have in regards to that.
My biggest issue with cosplay (and why I never do it) is that despite nice fabrics and all, the costumes still look…fake. And I understand that it’s because they’re cosplay, and people are going to be wearing them a few times a year, and that’s it, but for mine I want them to…actually look like outfits. Like something you COULD wear outside of the convention and, despite getting a few glances at the weirdness of the outfit overall, have them look like completely normal clothing, not…nice imitations of clothing. If anyone knows what I mean?

You can see the headdress better in these shots (my flags are made from Martha Stewart Crafts food picks and the label that a bushel of apples comes in from Archer Farms), unfortunately, my collar is askew because one of the snaps fell off. So many of my friends got great shots of this :D. Sword is by my talented friend, John! He may be seen as Broship of the Rings Gandalf.
